Workshop: ITLR Input Workshop & Editorial Retreat

The Khyentse Center is organizing and conducting its next ITLR meeting, which will take place at International Institute for Digital Humanities (DHII), Tokyo. The meeting will consists of a 2-day “Input Workshop” (Sep 16–17) and the sixth “Editorial Retreat” (Sep 18–19). The meeting will focus on inputting and publishing entries related to the Vikramaśīla Project, which is based at Mie University Japan and involving scholars from various institutions. The following scholars are planned to participate: (1) Orna Almogi (Universität Hamburg), (2) Junglan Ban (Universität Hamburg), (3) Martin Delhey (Universität Hamburg), (4) Kazuo Kano (Komazawa University), (5) Ryuta Kikuya (Kyoto University / Universität Hamburg), (6) Kenichi Kuranishi (Taisho University), (7) Taiken Kyuma (Mie University), (8) Izumi Miyasaki (Kyoto University), (9) Kaie Mochizuki (Minobusan University), (10) Ryugen Tanemura (Taisho University), (11) Toru Tomabechi (SAT/DHII, Tokyo University), and (12) Dorji Wangchuk (Universität Hamburg). The Editorial Retreat will be conducted with the aim of editing and publishing further new entries, discuss and set up further guidelines for contributors, and likewise further develop and introduce new features into both the Input Mode and the Viewer (Beta version). Five ITLR editors, including (1) Kiyonori Nagasaki (SAT/DHII, Tokyo University), (2) Toru Tomabechi, (3) Martin Delhey, (4) Dorji Wangchuk, and (5) Orna Almogi are planned to participate.
