Rebecca Hufen
Rebecca Hufen studied Tibetology, classical Indology, and Religious Studies at the University of Hamburg. She also studied at the College for Higher Tibetan Studies in Sarah (North India) from 2004 until 2006. She wrote her MA thesis titled “Der Lapislazuli-Schüssel: Kong-spruls Katalog über die Goldenen Lehren (gser chos) der Shangs-pa-bka’-brgyud–Tradition des tibetischen Buddhismus” and obtained here MA in 2010. Since April 2010, she works at the University of Hamburg as a lector for Tibetan Studies. Her special interests lie in Tibetan Buddhist literature and the intricacies of both levels of Tibetan language (i.e. classical and modern).
She is currently writing her PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dorji Wangchuk about the topic “Tantric Precepts in Brief and in Detail: A Study of Rong-zom Chos-kyi-bzang-po’s Dam tshig mdo rgyas.”
